With the simple mode, you can set the program to shut down the computer automatically at a certain hour, when a timer reaches zero, after a set period of time, from the moment you log into Windows or if the computer is idle for a certain amount of time. You can type in a number of hours and minutes for each of these features and enable them individually by clicking check boxes. After making your settings, you will have to activate the software itself by clicking a button, in the upper left corner of the interface.

The second shutdown mode lets you set up multiple time intervals for each day of the week. You can select a day from a drop menu and enable up to five intervals by typing start and end times in different boxes. Once your timetable is set, you must activate the application by clicking the same button in the interface's corner.

You can also use Awshow Auto Shutdown Software to enforce your rules, regarding how long someone can use your computer. Access to its interface is restricted with a password and while it is running, the software will not display a system tray icon. You can bring up the interface at any time by using a shortcut key, which can be configured on the general settings page.
